Burnley 'eye £10m Craig Dawson bid'

Burnley consider a £10m bid for West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson, according to a report.

Burnley are reportedly considering a £10m bid for West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson.

Dawson has been with West Brom since 2010, making more than 160 appearances in all competitions for the Baggies.

The 27-year-old has again been a dependable performer for the club this season, but West Brom seem destined for the Championship as they currently sit bottom of the Premier League table on 20 points.

According to The Mirror, Burnley will wait until West Brom's relegation is confirmed before making a £10m bid for Dawson, although the Clarets will face competition from Championship pair Aston Villa and Middlesbrough.

Jonny Evans, Ben Foster and Jay Rodriguez are among those also expected to leave West Brom this summer.
