Celtic, Rangers to go head to head in Scottish Premiership on September 10

The first Old Firm derby of the 2016-17 season between Celtic and Rangers is scheduled for September 10.

The first clash between rivals Celtic and Rangers in the 2016-17 Scottish Premiership season is scheduled for September 10.

New Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers will host the first Old Firm league derby in four years at Celtic Park in the second month of the league campaign.

A clash between Hearts and Aberdeen has also been added to the New Year fixtures, which will be followed by a month-long winter break.

The teams will restart the season on January 28.

St Johnstone vs. Aberdeen
