Andre Schurrle targets Premier League win

New Chelsea forward Andre Schurrle targets winning the Premier League after his move from Bayer Leverkusen.

New Chelsea signing Andre Schurrle has targeted winning the Premier League next season.

The German international was officially confirmed as Jose Mourinho's first signing as the Blues' manager on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old, who signed a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge, arrives from Bayer Leverkusen for a reported £18m, and the versatile Schurrle has said that winning the title is the club's top priority.

"For this club, winning titles is always the main objective. We have a great young team with so much quality," Schurrle told the club's official website.

"We are capable of doing well in the Premier League, Champions League and the cup competitions as well, and I hope to play a big part."

Schurrle scored 14 goals in 43 appearances for Leverkusen last season.
