Manchester City feel that Italy international Jorginho was 'bullied' into joining Chelsea from Napoli, according to a report.

Manchester City are reportedly furious with Napoli after missing out on long-term target Jorginho to Premier League rivals Chelsea.

The Blues hijacked a move for the creative midfielder as part of a double deal that also saw manager Maurizio Sarri arrive at Stamford Bridge.

City supposedly agreed terms with both the player and club a fortnight ago, only for Chelsea to get there first, and the Manchester Evening News reports that Citizens chiefs are particularly unhappy with Jorginho's agent Joao Santos.

The report claims that the English champions believe Napoli 'bullied' the Italy international into joining Chelsea, as he was told that he would sit in the stands for the next two years if he did not make the switch to Stamford Bridge.

City also feel that Santos should have done more to stick up for Jorginho, whose arrival was confirmed just hours after Sarri was appointed on Saturday morning.
