John Terry will start in the Chelsea defence against Swansea City at Stamford Bridge.

John Terry has been included in the Chelsea starting lineup for this afternoon's encounter against Swansea City at Stamford Bridge.

The former England international has spent a number of Premier League fixtures on the bench in recent months, but his services have been called upon by interim manager Rafael Benitez for the visit of the Swans.

Terry's presence has resulted in David Luiz being pushed further forward into a midfield role, while Demba Ba has been preferred to Fernando Torres as a lone striker. Gary Cahill has also recovered from injury to start in the four-man defence.

Visiting Swansea will begin the Premier League clash with leading goalscorer Michu up front and the Spaniard will be supported by Wayne Routledge and Pablo Hernandez from wide positions.

Chelsea: Cech; Azpilicueta, Terry, Cahill, Cole; Ramires, Luiz; Oscar, Mata, Hazard; Ba

Swansea: Vorm; Rangel, Flores, Williams, Davies; Britton, Ki, De Guzman; Routledge, Michu, Hernandez
