Michy Batshuayi is reportedly set to leave Chelsea for another loan spell, with Salernitana interested in the Belgium international.

Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi is reportedly set to leave the club on loan with Salernitana keen to bring the Belgian to Serie A.

Batshuayi has spent time on loan at Crystal Palace, Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and Besiktas, and despite returning to Chelsea for the start of the new season, he is deemed surplus to requirements at the club.

The 28-year-old has less than 12 months on his current deal, but the Blues have the option to extend his contract by another year.

Batshuayi is set to leave Chelsea for another loan spell, and according to the Daily Mail, Salernitana are interested in signing the striker.

The Italian club have spoken to Chelsea about a possible deal, with the Blues looking to agree a loan with an obligation to buy.

Salernitana were impressed by Batshuayi's spell at Besiktas last season, where he scored 14 goals and provided five assists in 33 league games.
