Bayern Munich are reportedly prepared to end their interest in securing a deal for Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Kai Havertz.
Having contributed 12 goals and six assists in the Bundesliga this season, the 21-year-old is attracting strong interest from Chelsea.
However, Bayern have been long-term admirers of the Germany international, who is expected to move to a bigger club during the next transfer window.
According to Bild, club officials are now against paying in the region of £90m for Havertz, instead preferring to focus on other targets.
The report suggests that Bayern's stance would remain the same even if they were able to raise funds from the sale of Thiago Alcantara.
Chelsea are allegedly in the process of opening negotiations with Leverkusen for their most prized asset.
