Chelsea have reportedly earmarked Bayern Munich midfielder Luiz Gustavo as a replacement for the potentially outgoing John Obi Mikel.
Mikel was reportedly close to joining Turkish side Galatasaray earlier this summer and the Nigerian's future is still far from certain at Stamford Bridge.
Should the 26-year-old leave the Blues, then manager Jose Mourinho will bid £16m for Brazilian international Gustavo, according to talkSPORT.
Gustavo was part of the Brazil side that won the Confederations Cup last month.
