Samuel Eto'o: 'Son wants Mallorca return'

Chelsea forward Samuel Eto'o says that he will finish his career with his former club Real Mallorca.

Chelsea forward Samuel Eto'o has revealed that his son has urged him to end his career with former club Mallorca.

The 32-year-old has netted eight times for his current side this season, including a hat-trick in their 3-1 win over Manchester United at the weekend.

His current Chelsea deal expires at the end of the season, however, and he has admitted that his son is keen for him to return to Mallorca, who play in Spain's second tier, before he hangs up his boots.

"I always like Barca, but I prefer my Mallorca. Will see if they are promoted. My son is putting pressure on me to finish my career there. My son is from Mallorca. I have signed a season [with Chelsea] at the moment. I will try to enjoy it and later will see."

Eto'o scored 69 times in 165 games for Mallorca between 1999 and 2004 before moving to Barcelona.
