Chelsea have reportedly offered AC Milan's Franck Kessie a contract worth €8m (£6.9m) a year to make the move to Stamford Bridge.
The 24-year-old's current deal at San Siro is due to expire next June, and a number of clubs are said to be keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding the midfielder.
Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are all believed to be firmly in the hunt for the Ivory Coast international, who could leave Milan on a free transfer.
According to Sport Mediaset journalist Claudio Raimondi, there is also serious interest from Chelsea, and the Blues have already placed a lucrative contract offer on the table.
Raimondi claims that Thomas Tuchel's side have offered Kessie €8m (£6.9m) a year, which is a significant rise on the €2.2m (£1.9m) that he currently earns at Milan.
Kessie enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign at club level, scoring 14 times and registering six assists in 50 appearances.
