Lazio head coach Maurizio Sarri is reportedly keen on securing a reunion with Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga during one of the next two transfer windows.

Lazio head coach Maurizio Sarri has allegedly identified Chelsea goalkeeper Maurizio Sarri as a potential transfer target.

The pair are no strangers to each other having worked together at Stamford Bridge, the most notable period of their working relationship coming when Arrizabalaga refused to be substituted during the 2019 EFL Cup final.

However, according to Sport, Sarri still values the ability of the Spaniard and regards him as a possible addition to his squad at Stadio Olimpico.

Pepe Reina, now 39 years of age, and Thomas Strakosha are both out of contract in the summer, meaning that they can hold discussions with foreign clubs from the turn of the year.

Although Arrizabalaga has been provided with regular appearances in cup competitions, the 27-year-old will eventually want to become a number one again in the future.

Despite three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea may be open to negotiating a deal.
