Pape Souare completes Crystal Palace move

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish announces that the club has signed Lille and Senegal defender Pape Souare.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has announced that Lille full-back Pape Souare has signed a contract with the Premier League club.

The defender underwent a medical with the Eagles earlier after returning from international duty in the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal.

Parish announced the deal on Twitter:


Souare is the third player to join Palace this week, following the arrivals of Jordon Mutch and Shola Ameobi.
