Report: Eneko Boveda signs pre-contract with Athletic Bilbao

A report claims that Eibar defender Eneko Boveda has signed a pre-contract with Athletic Bilbao.

Eibar defender Eneko Boveda has reportedly signed a pre-contract with Athletic Bilbao, which will see the Spaniard move to San Mames this summer.

The 26-year-old started his career with Bilbao, but made just three first-team appearances for the Basque outfit before moving on to Eibar.

The right-back has been a key player for his current side over the last four seasons, but it is understood that he has rejected a contract extension.

According to Diario Vasco, Boveda has already agreed a deal with Bilbao that will see him return to the club at the start of July.

When Boveda joined Eibar, they were in the third level of Spanish football.
