Ronald Koeman: 'I understand Everton fans' frustration'

Ronald Koeman says that the frustration of Everton fans in understandable, following their recent form.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has admitted that he understands why the club's fans are frustrated with their recent form.

The Blues have won only one of their last 11 games and fell to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Watford on Saturday.

However, despite their recent slump, Koeman is hoping to give the fans more reason to cheer over the Christmas period.

"I understand, because they are frustrated," he told reporters. "They are frustrated because it is really a bad run in the last 10 games.

"But we go on. We need belief, and the reaction of the fans is one I can understand. We need to change that reaction, and I hope we can give them a different feeling on Tuesday."

Everton host Arsenal on Tuesday before welcoming bitter rivals Liverpool to Goodison Park next Monday.
