Fenerbahce midfielder Raul Meireles has had his 11-match ban for spitting reduced to four after a successful appeal.
The Portuguese international, who moved to Turkey from Chelsea in an £8m move last summer, was initially charged with spitting at the referee following his sending-off against Galatasaray.
However, when reviewing the case, the Turkish Football Federation determined that it was "physically impossible" for Meireles to have spat at the official as he was speaking throughout the incident.
Instead, the 29-year-old will serve a four-game ban for his verbal attack on Halis Ozkahya.
