Joaquin Caparros praises team

Granada boss Joaquin Caparros praises his side following Saturday's 2-1 win over Deportivo La Coruna.

Granada boss Joaquin Caparros has praised his side for coming from behind to beat Deportivo La Coruna 2-1 in their La Liga opener on Saturday.

The newly-promoted outfit took the lead in the first half, but goals from Ruben Rochina and Jean-Sylvain Babin secured all three points for the home side.

"It seemed we weren't playing for three points in the first half, it looked like a pre-season game," Caparros told Marca.

"In the second half the team was tight, scored goals, created chances and weren't in danger. I had to change things because the game suited Deportivo, had to change the dynamics and succeeded.

"At 0-1 [the crowd] continued to support the team and has been instrumental in the comeback."

Week one in La Liga runs until tomorrow evening, when both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are in action.
