The agent of Inter Milan defender Yuto Nagatomo has claimed that his client has courted the interest of Tottenham Hotspur.
Nagatomo has emerged as a key figure for the Nerazzurri in recent seasons but, with just two years remaining on his existing deal, speculation has mounted over the 27-year-old's future at San Siro.
However, the player's representative, Roberto Tukada, says that the Japan international is content with life in Italy and reveals plans of summer negotiations over extending his contract.
He told Calciomercato: "Tottenham have been following him for a while but there is nothing more than that. He still has more than two years left on his contract with Inter and we want to renew.
"I think we will talk during the summer. The player is happy at Inter and there is no reason to think he will change teams."
Nagatomo has made over 100 Inter appearances in all competitions since joining from Cesena in 2011.
