Saturday's Serie A predictions including Juventus vs. Empoli

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Serie A fixtures, including Juventus vs. Empoli.

Atalanta vs. Bologna (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Two opening day winners go in search of another three points on Saturday evening, as Atalanta BC welcome Bologna to the Gewiss Stadium.

While, last week, the Bergamaschi's stoppage time strike salvaged a win which nearly slipped through their fingers, their Rossoblu counterparts twice came from behind to seal success against Salernitana.

We say: Atalanta BC 3-1 Bologna

As Atalanta are generally good value for at least a couple of goals per game - and both teams can be susceptible to being hit on the counter - it promises to be an entertaining 90 minutes on Saturday.

The home side look to have continued their goalscoring feats where they left off last season, so will make the most of Bologna's deficiencies at the back to seal back-to-back wins before the international break.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Lazio vs. Spezia (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Following first-day victory last weekend, Lazio welcome Spezia to Stadio Olimpico on Saturday, seeking to continue their positive start to the Serie A season.

While Maurizio Sarri's men overcame the shock of conceding an early goal to see off promoted Empoli last time out, their visitors let three points slip from their grasp at Cagliari.

We say: Lazio 2-0 Spezia

The prospect of a Spezia side who generally prefer going forward than defending should suit Lazio's forwards - as space to exploit can allow both Immobile and Anderson to thrive.

Having conceded, on average, around twice a game in 2021, Spezia are set for a season of struggle, so may enjoy better fortunes against the likes of Udinese and Venezia, who they meet after the upcoming international break.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Fiorentina vs. Torino (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Having both fallen victim to top-four contenders last weekend, Fiorentina and Torino meet at Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday, aiming to get their first Serie A points on the board.

While the home side were beaten by new-look Roma, their visitors lost to a last-gasp Atalanta goal in Turin.

We say: Fiorentina 1-1 Torino

The transition period under new coaches - both of whom have a clear vision of how they like the game to be played - is set to continue for both clubs in the coming weeks, so a score draw could result on Saturday.

Likely to be closely fought throughout, the spoils should be shared - allowing the two sides to start their Serie A tallies for the new campaign.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Juventus vs. Empoli (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Having stumbled on the opening day, Juventus will be under pressure to pick up their first win of the new season when they meet promoted Empoli on Saturday.

Following a week of intense speculation about the future of their biggest star, Juve welcome the Serie B champions to Turin ahead of the upcoming international break.

We say: Juventus 2-0 Empoli

Juventus dropped far too many points against bottom-half finishers last term, so will be anxious to immediately bounce back from starting this season in similar fashion.

They certainly possess the firepower to blow Empoli away, so if they can put together a more even 90-minute performance this time, victory should be a formality against one of their most frequent victims.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
