Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos offers his best wishes to Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah after his challenge forced the Egyptian off early in the Champions League final.

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has offered his best wishes to Mohamed Salah after injuring the Egyptian winger in the Champions League final on Saturday.

Salah's record-breaking season ended in heartbreak in Kiev when he was forced off in tears during the first half following a tangle with Ramos, who dragged him to ground leading to a suspected dislocated shoulder.

The 25-year-old now faces a race against time to be fit for this summer's World Cup in Russia, with Egypt's campaign getting underway against Uruguay in less than three weeks.

"Sometimes football shows you its good side and others the bad. Above all we are fellow pros. Get well soon, Salah. The future awaits you," Ramos wrote on Twitter.

Salah scored 44 goals across all competitions throughout the 2017-18 campaign, including 10 in the Champions League.
