Jamie Carragher slams "nightmare" Mamadou Sakho display

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher suggests that Mamadou Sakho's performance in the 3-0 defeat to Watford could have been among the worst of his career at the club.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has criticised the performance of Mamadou Sakho during the Reds' 3-0 defeat at the hands of Watford this afternoon.

The France international returned to the side having missed the last seven games through injury, but struggled to cope up against Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney as Watford cruised to the victory.

Carragher took to Twitter to claim that it could have been one of the worst displays of Sakho's Liverpool career.

Liverpool lost Sakho's centre-back partner Martin Skrtel to injury in the first half at Vicarage Road, with Lucas Leiva filling in at the back for the majority of the game.
