Chris Kiwomya: 'Notts County must not think about Liverpool tie'

Notts County manager Chris Kiwomya says that his players must concentrate on this weekend's match against Stevenage.

Notts County manager Chris Kiwomya has warned his players that they must not be distracted by their forthcoming match against Liverpool.

The Magpies will face the Premier League side at Anfield in the second round of the League Cup on Tuesday evening.

However, Kiwomya has said that the squad must focus on Saturday's League One match against Stevenage first.

"Players start looking ahead at all these other games," he told the Nottingham Post.

"But they've got to go out and put a good performance in against Stevenage because if they don't do it against them, I won't be too happy."

County beat Fleetwood Town 3-2 in the first round to set up the tie with Liverpool.
