Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted that his side must improve from their previous meetings with West Ham United when they face the Irons in the FA Cup fourth round later this month.
The Reds set up an all-Premier League clash with Slaven Bilic's side by cruising past Exeter City in a replay of their third-round tie at Anfield this evening.
However, Klopp's side fell to a 2-0 defeat at Upton Park in the Premier League at the start of the month, and the German boss acknowledged that his players could not afford to put in a similar performance if they are to stay in the Cup.
"We know the next opponent is West Ham. We didn't play well there at West Ham, so we have to correct a little bit," he told BT Sport.
"We have to show that we can do better against them. But it's a good game, and it's how we said, it's a very important tournament for us. Now we're in the next round, and that's where we want to be."
West Ham also beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield in August when Brendan Rodgers was in charge of the Reds.
