Liverpool will confirm the appointment of Sean O'Driscoll as their new assistant manager this week, according to a report.
The Reds parted company with Colin Pascoe and first-team coach Mike Marsh following the club's below-par performance in the Premier League last season.
O'Driscoll, a former Doncaster Rovers and Bristol City boss, emerged as the leading candidate to replace Pascoe, and is poised to leave his role as manager of England Under-19s to join Liverpool this week, reports The Mirror.
Pepijn Lijnders will also be promoted to the first-team staff, while the club are still eyeing a replacement for Marsh.
