Bayern Munich reportedly feel that Liverpool will opt against paying in the region of £90m for Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Kai Havertz.

Bayern Munich reportedly remain confident that they can win the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.

Having starred for the Bundesliga outfit over the past 18 months, the 20-year-old is expected to move to a bigger club in the summer.

Despite suggestions of Leverkusen setting an asking price in the region of £90m, Liverpool have been heavily linked with a bid for the playmaker.

However, according to Bild, Bayern do not expect the Premier League leaders to meet Leverkusen's valuation during the next transfer window.

The report claims that this has given Bayern confidence regarding a future deal for the Germany international.

Havertz has contributed nine goals and seven assists from 30 outings in the Bundesliga and Champions League this season.
