Liverpool are reportedly considering whether to launch a bid for Brighton & Hove Albion defender Ben White.
Despite having yet to make his Premier League debut for the Seagulls, White has emerged as one of the top players in the Championship this season while on loan at Leeds United.
The 22-year-old has made 34 starts at the second tier, helping the Yorkshire giants remain in the automatic promotion places for much of the campaign.
While a number of clubs are naturally monitoring his progress, The Athletic claims that Liverpool are weighing up an offer for the Englishman.
Although White has a contract at Brighton until 2022, his future at the club could depend on his desire to pen fresh terms at the Amex Stadium.
Should he opt against signing a new deal, Brighton may entertain a bidding war for White's signature, one which could involve Liverpool.
