Liverpool owner John Henry has launched a dig at Arsenal following their reported £40,000,001m bid for prolific striker Luis Suarez.

The North London outfit are believed to be tracking the controversial Uruguayan after he reportedly told the Merseyside outfit that he wants to join a Champions League club this summer.

Following an initial rejected bid, the Gunners are said to have lodged an improved offer triggering a clause that allows the player to be informed of Arsenal's interest.

After the reports emerged, American owner Henry wrote on Twitter: "What do you think they're smoking over there at Emirates?"

It is believed that the Reds have rejected the Gunners' latest attempt.
