Report: Liverpool accept Bournemouth's bid for Brad Smith

A report claims that Liverpool full-back Brad Smith is the subject of a successful £6m bid by Bournemouth and will now discuss personal terms with the Cherries.

Liverpool will reportedly allow defender Brad Smith to leave the club after accepting a £6m bid from Bournemouth.

The 22-year-old could now become the second Reds player to make a switch to the Goldsands Stadium this summer, following in the footsteps of Jordon Ibe, should he agree personal terms.

Smith is currently on pre-season duty with Liverpool in the United Stats but, according to The Sun, he has been granted permission to return home and discuss a move.

Bournemouth already have Charlie Daniels and Tyrone Mings vying for a left-back spot, though Smith can also play further up the field on the wing.

Cameron Brannagan may also be on his way out of Anfield on a temporary basis, with Bristol City, Wigan Athletic and Bradford City all said to be interested.
