Report: Liverpool close to signing Manchester City youngster Rafael Camacho

Liverpool are reportedly close to signing Manchester City youngster Rafael Camacho.

Liverpool are reportedly close to securing the signature of Manchester City youngster Rafael Camacho.

The Merseyside outfit are believed to have had eyes on the 15-year-old for some time following his move to City from Sporting Lisbon in 2014.

Camacho, who has attracted attention after scoring three goals in five appearances for Portugal Under-16s, is reportedly not expecting to be offered a professional contract at the Etihad Stadium.

According to ESPN, Liverpool are in advanced talks with the youngster about taking him to Anfield.

Meanwhile, the Merseyside outfit, who will take on Sevilla in the Europa League final in Basel on May 18, are preparing for tomorrow night's Premier League match against Chelsea at Anfield.
