Lyon defender Bakary Kone has called on his teammates to strive for a spot in next season's Champions League.
Les Gones sit fourth in the Ligue 1 table, level on 39 points with Lille, and ten points behind second-placed Montpellier HSC.
However, inconsistency has plagued Lyon this season, outlined by their 2-1 home defeat to Caen last weekend.
"We have lost enough points and we will focus on retrieving the situation," Kone told Lyon's official website.
"We are also obliged to recover. We're going to Bordeaux with a winning spirit.
"We will make every effort to be in the top three."
Tuesday's 1-0 victory over APOEL Nicosia has put Remi Garde's men in the driving seat of their last-16 Champions League tie.
