Roberto Mancini says Carlos Tevez is "finished" at Man City after an incident in Munich.

Roberto Mancini has said that Carlos Tevez is "finished" at Man City after he refused to appear in the club's Champions League game tonight.

The former Blues captain reportedly refused to come onto the pitch for the match with Bayern Munich when he was listed as a substitute in favour of Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko.

"He refused to go in. He refused to come on the pitch," a visibly frustrated Mancini told Sky Sports News after the match, which ultimately ended as a 2-0 defeat for the Premier League side. "For me, it's a bad situation because in a game like this it's impossible for one player to refuse to come on, but also for the team because he didn't play."

Speaking to written media later, Mancini said Tevez was "finished" at the Etihad, adding: "If I had my way he would be out of the club."

The 27-year-old striker reportedly explained his actions by saying that he did "not feel good mentally".

Tevez was subject of much controversy over the summer, repeatedly insisting that he wanted to leave the club and return home to Argentina.
