Sergio Aguero vows to battle on in Premier League title race

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero vows to keep on fighting in the Premier League title race despite his side's 3-1 home defeat to fellow challengers Leicester.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has insisted that his side will keep fighting for the Premier League title despite their defeat to fellow challengers Leicester City this afternoon.

The Foxes maintained their remarkable form this season with a 3-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium - a result that leaves them five points clear at the top of the table and six ahead of Man City.

However, Aguero has vowed to learn from the defeat and promises to battle until the end as they look to overturn that deficit in the remaining 13 games of the season.

"No excuses, but we are not going to throw in the towel. You learn from every match and from this one too. Let's forge ahead!" the Argentine wrote on Twitter.

Aguero netted late on against Leicester to register his seventh goal in his last five appearances for the club.
