Manchester City have reportedly identified Leicester City playmaker Riyad Mahrez as a summer transfer target.
During the January window, City launched a late bid to sign Mahrez and were prepared to pay somewhere in the region of £60m to sign the Algerian international, but the bid failed to match Leicester's valuation.
Manager Pep Guardiola is currently drawing up a shortlist of players that he wishes to sign ahead of the next campaign and according to The Sun, the Spaniard remains keen on Mahrez.
Leicester's star man has just over two years remaining on his contract and with little prospect of fresh terms being penned at the King Power Stadium, the Foxes will likely consider any offers.
The 27-year-old has contributed 10 goals and eight assists in 32 top-flight outings this season.
