Manchester United's Rafael da Silva: 'We must bounce back at Old Trafford'

Rafael da Silva insists that Manchester United need to "bounce back" following their defeats to Everton and Newcastle United.

Manchester United defender Rafael da Silva has insisted that he and his teammates need to put their recent poor results behind them.

The Premier League champions have slumped 13 points below leaders Arsenal in the league table following defeats to Everton and Newcastle United.

United suffered the back-to-back defeats at Old Trafford, but Rafael believes that they can put things right with a home win against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League this evening.

"It's very important we get back to winning at Old Trafford," Rafael told MUTV. "It's our home and we have to play well here for our supporters. We should do this on Tuesday.

"Of course, everyone is disappointed with the results [against Everton and Newcastle] and the way we played. Now we must bounce back and try to get the wins again."

United are currently unbeaten in their European campaign.
