With just one month of the season left to play, things are slowly beginning to take shape at both ends of the Premier League table.
A fifth league win on the bounce for Chelsea in their meeting with Manchester United dragged them within touching distance of the title, while Manchester City closed the gap on their rivals with a 2-0 victory over West Ham United.
Events at the bottom end of the table continue to dramatically develop with each passing week, and it appears increasingly likely that the battle for survival will go right down to the wire following Leicester City's third successive win this weekend.
That triumph over a Swansea City side who have not left the top half of the table all season dragged the Foxes off the bottom of the league for the first time since November.
There was no such joy for fellow strugglers Burnley, though, who lost 1-0 at Everton, while Queens Park Rangers, Hull City and Sunderland - separated by just three points - were all without a game due to FA Cup commitments elsewhere.

Crystal Palace 0-2 West Bromwich Albion

West Brom ended a run of 10 Premier League away matches without a win (D5 L5).
No player has made more assists from set pieces in the Premier League this term than Chris Brunt (6), who is now level with Cesc Fabregas.
The Baggies have scored more goals from corners than any other top-flight team this season (12).
This was Palace's highest possession figure of the campaign (68.4%). They had not managed over 54% in any other league match since the start of last season.

Everton have won three and lost none of their last seven Premier League matches at Goodison Park.
The Toffees have failed to score with more penalties in the top flight this season than any other team (3).
Burnley have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last 14 away league matches.
Everton have conceded only two goals in their last six league home matches, keeping five clean sheets in the process.

Leicester have scored at least two goals in four successive Premier League matches for the first time since May 2000.
The Foxes have won all three of their matches so far in April this season, after a run of 17 league games in April without a win before that.
Leonardo Ulloa scored his first league goal in 647 minutes, last finding the net on Boxing Day 2014.
Leicester have moved off the foot of the league table for the first time since 29 November 2014.

Mame Biram Diouf has scored in each of his last three league appearances at the Britannia Stadium.
This is the first top-flight match this season that the Saints have lost having taken the lead.
Southampton conceded more than once on the road for the first time since the opening weekend of the current campaign.

Chelsea have lost only one of their last 12 Premier League home matches against United (W7 D4 L1).
Man Utd have suffered more league defeats at the hands of Chelsea than against any other side (15).
Chelsea's last home defeat in the league came almost exactly one year ago (19 April, 2014 vs. Sunderland).
United now have the best shot-conversion rate in the top flight this season (18.6%).

Sergio Aguero scored his 101st Man City goal in his 159th appearance for the club.
The Citizens have won their last four Premier League home matches without conceding a goal.
Aguero was the first player to reach 20 goals in the top flight this season, with Harry Kane emulating the feat later on the same day.
James Collins scored his second Premier League own goal, and West Ham's 30th in the competition.

Kane scored his 30th goal in all competitions this season; more than any other player in the Premier League. Kane is also the first Spurs player to hit 30 since Gary Lineker in 1991-92.
The England international is only the fourth Spurs player to hit 20+ goals in a Premier League season after Gareth Bale, Jurgen Klinsmann and Teddy Sheringham.
The two quickest goals in the league this season after the second-half restart have been scored by Newcastle against Spurs (eight seconds for Sammy Ameobi's at White Hart Lane in the reverse fixture, 18 for Jack Colback on Sunday).
Christian Eriksen scored his third direct free kick of the season; more than any other player in the top flight this campaign.
