Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has taken a cheeky swipe at Manchester United in a light-hearted interview.
The Spaniard was grilled by celebrity Citizen and former Oasis star Noel Gallagher during a public presentation outside of the club's academy, and he was quick to embrace the city rivalry.
"I wasn't worried," he said when asked whether he was concerned that City would fail to secure Champions League football last term. "I was coming to Manchester, I was never going to stay at home.
"But we are not in the Champions League, we have to be clear. That situation is now in this moment better than Manchester United's, though."
City will enter the Champions League at the playoff phase after finishing fourth in the table last season.
