Zlatan Ibrahimovic: 'A draw against Liverpool was a good result'

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic says that his side's goalless draw with Liverpool was a good result.

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said that he was satisfied with his side's point against Liverpool on Monday night.

Jose Mourinho's side were successful in nullifying a free-scoring Liverpool side, and although Ibrahimovic missed a second-half header at the back post, the Swede was happy to leave Anfield with a share of the spoils.

The 35-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I think it was a good result, think after the second half and the chances that they had. I think we can still work but we are getting there.

"My chance was difficult. I needed to chase the ball instead of attacking it but I should have at least hit the target. I was there - that's the most important thing - and next time I will do better.

"The season is long. I see the conquering teams are losing points at the same time and any week, different things can happen."

United sit in seventh position in the Premier League table, five points adrift of leaders Manchester City.
