Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was reportedly targeted by Manchester City staff during the dressing-room fracas which followed Sunday's derby at Old Trafford.

Players and staff from both sides clashed in the Old Trafford tunnel after United boss Jose Mourinho had become engaged in a heated row with City goalkeeper Ederson regarding the visitors' over-exuberant celebrations.

City coach Mikel Arteta sustained a facial wound during the incident while Mourinho had milk and water thrown at him, and reports in Spain now suggest that Ibrahimovic was mocked by City staff prior to the melee.

Marca reports that a group of City staff told Ibrahimovic, "Ibra, you talk a lot but you move a little", which contributed to the ill-feeling between the two squads.

It is unclear whether Ibrahimovic - who came on as a late sub in United's 2-1 defeat - was involved in the bust-up which followed, but his strike partner Romelu Lukaku is alleged to have thrown the bottle which drew blood from Arteta.

The FA has opened an investigation into the incident, with both clubs having until Wednesday to respond.
