Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reveals that Alexis Sanchez will again be absent for this weekend's Premier League clash with Everton.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that Alexis Sanchez will again be absent for this weekend's Premier League clash with Everton as the Chilean is "struggling with his condition".

Sanchez missed United's 1-0 defeat to Juventus on Tuesday night with an adductor problem, but it had been thought that the South American would be available for Sunday's clash with Everton.

Mourinho, however, has officially ruled the former Arsenal attacker out of the match with the Toffees, admitting that he is currently not physically right.

"In this moment he's struggling because he's injured. And he come to the Chelsea match to try to help the team but his physical condition was not good. And then he had to stop and was not available for Juventus and I believe he is not available for tomorrow again," Mourinho told reporters.

"So now the point is to be physically in the best conditions. Arrived January, in the first period of the season, for him the last period of the season last season. I don't think is ever an easy situation for a player but this season he had a good start, he had a good pre-season he start well against Leicester [City], and then he was injured, then he came back and then he was injured again.

"So he is struggling with his condition and I think he is the kind of player that needs to be really, really sharp to play his best game."

Sanchez - recently linked with Paris Saint-Germain - joined United from Arsenal during the January transfer window but has only scored four times in 26 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions.
