Solskjaer confirms Ferguson chat after Liverpool defeat

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that he did speak to Sir Alex Ferguson when the legendary manager visited the club's training complex earlier this week.

Ferguson <a href="/football/man-utd/sack-race/news/ferguson-visits-man-united-training-ground-amid-solskjaer-speculation_468472.html">was at Carrington on Tuesday</a> alongside former Man United chairman Martin Edwards and ex-chief executive David Gill.

Solskjaer has revealed that he did speak with the Scot in the aftermath of the 5-0 defeat to Liverpool, which led to serious questions surrounding the former's position as head coach.

The Norwegian, however, has vowed to "fight back", with the Red Devils looking to recover from the five-goal thrashing away . . .
