Wojciech Szczesny: 'We didn't take our chances'

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny says that the Gunners did not take their chances as they played out a goalless draw with Manchester United in the Premier League.

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has said that the Gunners did not take their chances as Arsene Wenger's men played out a goalless draw with Manchester United this evening.

Both sides had good opportunities to take all three points at the Emirates, with David de Gea making a standout save to deny Santi Cazorla late on.

"We did not take our opportunities today, which is disappointing. It is a positive to get a clean sheet after conceding five goals," the keeper told reporters after the game.

"I tried to react to Robin van Persie's effort. He did not score a lot of headers at Emirates Stadium, so I wanted that to continue.

"It will be really tight. A lot of teams are very close to each other at the top. We are confident going into the last few games. If we show our character, we can do it."

The draw sees Arsenal sitting in second place in the Premier League table.
