AC Milan want Manchester United's Diogo Dalot on permanent deal?

AC Milan are reportedly considering a permanent deal for Manchester United loanee Diogo Dalot, who has started just four Serie A matches in the 2020-21 campaign.

AC Milan could reportedly try to secure the services of Manchester United's Diogo Dalot on a permanent basis this summer.

The 21-year-old linked up with the Rossoneri last year after falling down the pecking order at Man United, but he has largely struggled to make an impact in Serie A, starting just four top-flight matches.

However, Dalot has played an important role for Milan in the Europa League and Coppa Italia this season, and he is supposedly hopeful of staying in Milan beyond the end of the season.

According to Calciomercato, Milan will consider Dalot's future at the club when the current campaign concludes, but their priorities right now are tying Hakan Calhanoglu and Gianluigi Donnarumma down to new deals.

Man United forked out a fee of £19m to sign Dalot from Porto in 2018, but the report claims that Milan will not need to pay the same amount for the right-back if they do choose to make his stay permanent.

The Portugal Under-21s international will see his current deal at Old Trafford expire in 2023, and Sevilla are said to be keeping a close eye on developments as well.
