Chelsea 'determined to keep hold of Nemanja Matic'

Chelsea are determined to keep hold of Nemanja Matic following interest from Juventus and Manchester United.

Chelsea are reportedly prepared to rebuff any potential suitors for midfielder Nemanja Matic.

The 27-year-old has been linked with Juventus and Manchester United following a disappointing season, which ended in a 10th-place finish in the Premier League.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has told Matic to stay put, despite the club's attempts to sign Leicester City's N'Golo Kante.

The report adds that the Serbian is interested in a possible move to Old Trafford, which would see him link up with his former manager Jose Mourinho.

Matic is two years into a second spell at Chelsea following a previous stint between 2009 and 2011.
