Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard is open to joining West Ham United on loan, according to a report.

Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard is reportedly open to joining West Ham United on loan for the remainder of the 2020-21 campaign.

The 28-year-old has only made three appearances for the Red Devils during the current season, while he has not played a single minute of Premier League football this term.

A number of clubs have been linked with the England international, but West Ham are believed to have emerged as the favourites, with Hammers boss David Moyes keen on a reunion at the London Stadium.

According to Sky Sports News, Lingard would welcome a loan switch to the capital outfit, and the two teams are currently locked in negotiations over a deal.

The report claims that the deal could cost West Ham in the region of £3m, but Moyes's side already have two domestic loan signings at the club, meaning that Said Benrahma's move from Brentford would have to be made permanent this month in order to allow the United playmaker to arrive.

Lingard has 18 months left to run on his contract with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team.
