Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici says that the Italian champions are in talks with Paulo Dybala over a new long-term contract.

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has revealed that the Italian champions are in talks with Paulo Dybala over a new long-term contract in Turin.

The Argentina international was strongly linked with a move away from the Old Lady during last summer's transfer window, having found it difficult to show his best form during the 2018-19 season.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur were both credited with an interest, but the forward remained with Juve and has impressed this term, registering 13 goals and 12 assists in 34 appearances in all competitions.

A recent report claimed that the South American wanted to sign a lifelong deal with the Serie A giants, and Paratici has now confirmed that the club are "working" to extend his contract.

"We're working to extend Paulo Dybala's contract,' Paratici told Sky Sport Italia. "We want him as part of Juventus for many years."

Dybala's existing deal with Maurizio Sarri's side is due to expire at the end of the 2021-22 season.
