Lautaro Martinez is reportedly on the verge of penning a new long-term contract with Inter Milan.
At a time when the Serie A champions needed to boost their financial situation during the summer, Martinez was heavily linked with a transfer away from San Siro.
Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur were all credited with an interest in the Argentina international.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 24-year-old is ready to commit his future to Inter until the end of the 2025-26 campaign.
Romano suggests that Martinez will officially sign his new contract, which comes with a significant pay-rise, in the coming weeks.
The attacker has enjoyed a strong start to the season with five goals coming from his six outings in Italy's top flight.
