Manchester United are still open to the idea of bringing another new player to Old Trafford this summer, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly still open to the idea of bringing another new player to Old Trafford before this summer's transfer window closes for business.

The Red Devils have spent big on Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane in the current market, while the goalkeeping department has been strengthened with the arrival of Tom Heaton.

Head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refused to rule out the possibility of signing another player when questioned on the situation after last weekend's win over Leeds United.

According to ESPN, the 20-time English champions are still considering signing either a new central midfielder or right-back before the deadline.

Atletico Madrid's Kieran Trippier has been strongly linked with the Red Devils this summer, while a number of midfielders, including Eduardo Camavinga of Rennes and Ruben Neves of Wolverhampton Wanderers, are thought to be of interest to the club.

Man United have also allegedly identified Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe as a potential transfer target during next summer's window, providing that the Frenchman does not move on this month.
