Manchester United are reportedly confident of being able to agree fresh terms with youngster Tahith Chong.
Having been restricted to just 10 appearances this season, it has been suggested that the 20-year-old has little interest in remaining at Old Trafford.
With less than six months left on the Dutchman's contract, Inter Milan have been attempting to secure an agreement with the playmaker ahead of the summer.
However, according to The Telegraph, United still believe that they will be able to keep the academy graduate at the club past the end of this season.
Should Chong link up with Inter, it has been claimed that he would be loaned out to another club in Serie A in order to gain first-team experience.
Given his current status at United, the North-West outfit may be prepared to agree to the same conditions should Chong express a desire for a temporary move.
