Barcelona reportedly offer right-back Sergino Dest to Manchester United ahead of this summer's transfer window.

Barcelona have reportedly offered right-back Sergino Dest to Manchester United ahead of this summer's transfer window.

Although the 21-year-old has no plans to leave Camp Nou, his future has come into question due to a lack of game time under head coach Xavi.

Dest has started only six games for Barca in 2022, with veteran right-back Dani Alves preferred on the right side of defence.

According to 90min, Barcelona have told Dest that he is free to find a new club this summer, with representatives of the Catalan outfit holding talks with potential suitors.

The report adds that Man United have been offered the chance to sign the USA international, with incoming boss Erik ten Hag contemplating the addition of a new right-back this summer.

The Red Devils are believed to be open to letting Aaron Wan-Bissaka leave the club either permanently or on an initial loan deal, which could pave the way for Dest to arrive at Old Trafford as his replacement.

Dest, who moved to Camp Nou from Ajax in the summer of 2020, has also attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United.
