Manchester United will attempt to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer if Paul Pogba leaves Old Trafford, according to a report.

Manchester United will reportedly attempt to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic if Paul Pogba leaves Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.

The speculation surrounding Pogba's future continues to gather pace, with Real Madrid allegedly determined to bring the France international to the Bernabeu ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, should the 2018 World Cup winner leave United this summer then the 20-time English champions will target Milinkovic-Savic as his replacement.

The 25-year-old has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford, while Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be admirers of the 15-time Serbia international.

Milinkovic-Savic has again been in impressive form for his Italian club this season, contributing five goals and seven assists in 31 appearances in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are still said to be keen on a summer deal for Jack Grealish despite the Aston Villa captain recently breaking government guidelines.
