Manchester United are reportedly at the head of the queue for Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz.
The 20-year-old scored 20 times at club level during the 2018-19 campaign and has again been in excellent form this term, contributing 15 goals and eight assists in 38 appearances in all competitions.
A number of clubs, including Bayern Munich and Liverpool, are believed to be interested in the Germany international, who has six goals in his last five Bundesliga outings.
However, according to The Sun, United are currently leading the race for the versatile attacker, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side preparing to place a £50m offer on the table.
The report claims that Havertz's ability to play out wide and through the middle as part of a front three makes him an attractive proposition for the 20-time English champions.
United are also allegedly confident of signing Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho this summer.
